The Louth 'Ants & Nats'
The Louth Naturalists' Antiquarian and Literary Society (Ants & Nats for short) was founded by a group of young men in 1884, who met each week to discuss local and natural history. The Louth Ants & Nats is still a thriving society today. As well as operating Louth Museum, the society owns and controls other historic buildings in the town.
Our present-day aims

- To provide a museum for Louth and the local area, which is open to the public and tells the story of our town and its people
